Laser Hair Removal, Fake Plants & Cow Roping

After getting my laser hair removal for my face and chest hairs I went to Garden Ridge and Home Depot. I got a push broom and some hideously bright plants. I had roaster cones/ice cream cones last year and I think two may come back. Hell, I'm tired of buying plants so I got some fake ones to put in the pots. I do have two begonias that came back in the front yard = yippy.

The lady zapped my upper lip. Talk about hurt but her technique was good that it didn't last long after the zap. I haven't had my lip done since the first session. Today was my fifth time and I have four more sessions. The next one is August 8th. I love being smooth. I go to Ideal Image which are everywhere. The package includes full face, neck, and breast bone for 9 sessions. Does it work. Yes. I would never gotten a digital camera if I was still looking like Wolfman Jack.

I think I'll practice my cow roping on Ciara.

Hair Shaving Reducing Lotion

From a previous post about laser hair removal and shaving you may remember me running around town for hair reducing lotion. After shampooing the filthy, matted down, fur laden carpet in my bedroom, I went out to get something to eat. I stopped at a furniture store - High Point is the furniture capitol of the world. Now, from my parents I have learned to pick out furniture. If you know nothing about wood you buy metal. That's what I did for my first bed. For the second bed and bedroom set I went straight to Amish Originals because they know wood because they make it by hand. It might be plain, but it's beautiful. This furniture joint had this one painted night stand that I really fell in like with, but it was marked down to $249. I walked around and walked out.

Kerr Drug - a brand new one. I hadn't noticed it had moved. I knew the one by Big Lots closed, but didn't know it was moving. For sure they'd have my shave reducing lotion. No they didn't.

Since I was just across the street from Big Lots I decided to go see what they had. I was looking for anything cheap that I needed - wanted. Well, don't you know that they had the same painted night stand that I was hawking in the furniture place and it was a whole $90 less - and it was actually made better. At a $159 I left it there because by the time I got two.... Interesting.

Then after deciding I didn't need a fancy coiling hose - I do need a hose. Out of habit I went to the hair product isle. Then I thought, "I wonder if they have my lotion." They did and plenty of it. I got five bottles at $4. I've used this brand before and it does work. Big Lots.
Some people act a fool when they get stuff - cameras, Sisterlocks, shave reducing lotion. I did have a picture of me with the lotion. Sometimes if I'm not careful I look a little like Jay-Z and I was having a one of those moments.

Laser Hair Removal & Lady Remington

I've also spent a wad of money in laser hair removal. The first million was a near waste. The hair grew back but not as badly after four sessions. Her laser was too weak and the sessions should have been two months apart. I'm currently going to Ideal Image for full face, neck, and cleavage. And praise God from whom all blessings flow - I'm not afraid to let folks get close to my face. I'd arm wrestle any man who would come near to touching my face. I'm getting nine - yes - nine sessions for a gazillion dollars. I just had my fourth session and I'm so pleased with the results that I can cry. I know I have before. The first four sessions are two months apart and the last ones are three months apart.

I bought a Remington Smooth and Silky with the rest of my birthday money. I have one already but the blades and coils needed to be replaced. I went out searching for parts. I ended up at Wal-Mart and after summing up the price of the parts plus s/h because I couldn't find it in stores - the only smart thing to do was buy a new one. I got it for $39 and it's retailed at $55 on Remington's site. And it came with a pen like detailer. Mmmm. I'm actually scared to use it. Today I used the shaver and low and behold I'm incredibly smooth. Smoother than with my old one. I'm rubbing my legs together like a cricket. Sheets and clothes feel different too. And Ciara's fur felt so good when she did her cat like figure eights against my legs.

I'm off to enjoy my smoothness because in about 8 hours it will all be itchy stubble.
