I've been working at this since May and I feel like I'm getting nowhere. The gym isn't getting better. My foot hurts, but not as bad. Or maybe I've become acclimated to the pain. My belly doesn't seem to be getting any smaller. Only my wrists, but, but wait, just one wrist seems to be getting smaller. I say that in sarcasm because I wear just one bracelet. Did the links stretch and this is all a joke? I'm drinking 64oz of water. Clean eating, moderation, protein, more fruit, more veggies, no French Fries, no this, no that and I feel like it's all in insert a cuss-word vain.
It really makes me wonder if I'm just supposed to be fat. I've been praying and nearly to tears about this. Gastric bypass has even crossed my mind. But I don't know with Jesse Jackson Jr. having depression and bi-polarism. I'm already angry and frustrated. That's probably what happened. Couldn't lose weight, had surgery, somebody said that trigger word. You never know. It's serious people.
Maybe I should go back on the Devil aka metformin. That will surely get my bowels moving like a ninja in the dark, but leaving me feeling like I have a serious stomach virus. I'd rather be fat than to use that stuff again. Yet, out of desperation I thought about it.
I've mentally cussed out everything. I had to nicely tell my workout partner for chanting 'Get It Girl' while I'm in the zone. I really wanted to blurt out a string off ill things, but I didn't. I apologized to her for being mean and why I didn't like the high pitched cheer leading. I prayed to God, Allah, Jesus, Mother Mary, Buddha, and my blue light within to make a blankety-blank cramp in my ab to go away while working out. I'm sure God side-eyed me when I cussed because just as it was going away, the cramp came back. I prayed for forgiveness. Yes, my attitude is deplorable. Now if you got offended, cast the first stone.
The mirror at the gym, let me tell you about that liar. My shape is flicted, but not as messed up as that. A little weight loss and toning and I'll be fine. It's like I'm at a carnival and come up to the fun house of mirrors. My belly is not that big. Mirror, mirror on the wall, I'll take seven bad years for you. Just like your lying cousin the scale.
Ciara, for those of you just joining in, my dog, has gotten yelled at for getting in my way when I'm trying to walk anywhere in the house. She sleeps between the bed and wall all sprawled out so when I get up I have to step over her. That's a feat with legs feeling like concrete and my foot feeling like I'm stepping on 2X4s with nails in them. Poor puppydawgkittyboogirl was crated one night after the gym so I could take a nap before work. She was barking entirely too much.
A cortisone shot would be the ticket. I'm really thinking about that. In my mind I've already thought out the whole pain channeling. I would need a nurse possibly to talk to during the procedure. I like doctors and nurses that coo me to a happy place when pain is involved. Yes, talk to me in a soothing voice and tell me I'm doing great.
Conclusion, I'll keep on exercising and eating clean. I didn't gain ten pounds in a month.

My Teeth are Falling Out

I had just finished my Mexican dinner and dessert and noticed that something was a little too hard to be part of fried icecream. My top right molar felt a little sharp. It's broken. Woah is me because I know I'll have to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Please share your wisdom teeth extraction experience.
This post will be a multi-task post. I'm waiting on the last load of laundry to dry so that I can promptly take the clothes out to prevent wrinkles.
Blah, blah - tooth. I'm done with that now. The last post was about my hair troubles. I re-tightened, re-installed, and fixed the crazy locks. The picture above is the before the repairs, the after looks just the same.
Ciara has been following me like a shadow. I believe it has a lot to do with her being crated a long time this week. Also, I've been trying to train her which includes being put in the bathroom when she paws at the shutters and barks. I guess she figures if she's right at my heels that she can't get into trouble. I stepped on her hands twice while carrying clothes. The other day she made me fall while I had company. The expression on her face read, "WTH, don't fall on me." I'm tempted to let her go back to barking up a storm, just to keep from injuring ourselves. Some days I really want to pawn her off on my parents. People always tell me that I'd be all to pieces if something was to happen to her. One day I got off of work early and she didn't come walking slowly down the steps. I freaked. I was hesitant to call her name. I thought the worse. Then, I figured she got closed into one of the rooms like a time before. I finally called her name and like a good dog, she slowly walked down the steps, stretched and yawned, and then greeted me at the door.

Five Months - Pop, Lock & Drop It
So the instructional dance song 'Pop, Lock, & Drop It' which I happen to like, is by some cat named Huey. I will get my laughing, locked, married, handsome co-worker for not correcting me."You know that song by Lil' Bow Wow 'Pop, Lock It, Drop It'?"
"Which song?" Handsome Married Co-worker with Locks grinned with no let up.
"Pop, Lock It, Drop It by Lil' Bow Wow."
That's why Mrs. P calls you 'Chocolate'.
I am sorta hurt that Lil Bow Wow didn't come up with that song. I was thinking it was totally hot that he would make a female entertainer song when it was rumored that Ciara left him because he was spending time with an adult only type dancer. I should have named Ciara, Beyonce. They have the same color hair, always on everything, and impressive yet sometimes annoying voices.
Did I ever tell the story behind Ciara's name? She wasn't named after Ciara the singer at all. Caesar, an adorably cute runt of the litter, would turn at the moment he heard the 'see' sound at the beginning of Caesar. The sweet faced little fellow would swat to use the bathroom, would stop and hold his paw up with his tail curled over his back in a ? fashion. I thought it was so cute. His male owner thought it was gay. And to find out, for her particular breed the ? tail in pointing is a flaw and is actually called a 'gay tail'. I should have had it docked because that thing hurts like a whip.
Caesar went to the vet and her human care givers were puzzled when the vet kept referring to Caesar as a she and a her. After being showed a male puppy as proof, Caesar's name had to be changed. We practiced other names with her like Samantha, Sarah. Ceily worked. The word 'see' worked too. Before we left the room we had a name. Since, CiCi was too close to my real name, the only other name I could think of was ---
--- Back to my hair, it's been five months.

Ciara's Ear is Healed, Tires & Mr. Arkansas
Last night I greased Ciara's ear with some Egyptian Magic I had in the refrigerator. I have two bottles and put on in there to keep it from going rancid if it does that. Today, she had her ears perked up and I couldn't tell which had been infected. Praise God for giving Egyptians the knowledge of which plants and animal stuff will heal my dog's ear. The tea tree oil got the offensive stuff out and the EM healed her scratched up ear.
Now, remember that Crown Victoria. A main tire blow out during a fast stop and fish tail. Then the spare one blew out. I'm sorta glad it happened on Sunday when only one of us has to go to work - ME. But there are no cheap tire places open on Sunday. We are not buying all four tires! Especially when this guy is selling these rims with the tire for $200.
I feel like playing all of Kanye West's songs.
And thank you mister Arkansas man who pulled over to help me and gave me a Christian booklet. Eventhough I don't represent a religous group I do represent the group of people who try to do what's right.

Ciara's Ear & Neem Oil
Well, after a few treatments of Tea Tree Oil, Ciara doesn't have the crusty stuff in her ear anymore. What she does have is a scratched up ear. Remedy, a tad bit more tto and a crochet sock I made and a rubberband to keep it on. It's supposed to be for a toddler, but I don't know any and it fit her foot nicely. Hopefully it will stay on during the night and keep her from scratching her ear. I think the ear mites, bacteria, yeast, whatever are gone. And too much tto will make her skin sensitive. So, after tonight, I will switch to the Egyptian Magic. Ciara's a tough dog. I can step on her foot and she just looks at me without saying a woof. What's next, finding out more on Neem Seed Oil. http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/learn/oilprofile/neem_oil.php
"Medicinal and Cosmetic Use

The oil has moisturizing and regenerative properties, contains Vitamin E, and has essential fatty acids. Scientific research today validates many of the traditional uses of Neem Oil, it is used to treat bacterial, fungal, and viral infections, boost the immune system, and for many specific health problems. It is also used to deter mosquitoes, fleas, mites, and lice, flies, ticks. Among other conditions, Neem Oil has been historically used to treat the following: Malarial fevers, diabetes, urinary problems, acne, eczema, psoriasis, scabies, gingivitis, swollen and bleeding gums, cavity prevention, ringworm, chicken pox, lice, dandruff, burns, wounds, athlete’s foot, sore throat, tiredness, cough, leprosy, hemorrhoids, intestinal worms, boils, ulcers, warts, herpes, arthritis, cancer, sprains, AIDS, cold sores, parasites, bed sores, rashes, gangrene, heart disease, gastritis, stomach problems, high blood pressure, sinusitis, hives, snake bites, hypertension, hair loss, heart burn, cholesterol, hangover, shingles, chronic fatigue, headaches, poor circulation, influenza, colds, insomnia, tuberculosis, immune system, indigestion, conjunctivitis, inflammation, urinary stones, candida, kidney problems, wrinkles, eye disorders, yeast infections, earache, hot spots, and nausea."
This stuff sounds like a God in a bottle. People still get leprosy?
Can you tell that I like natural juices and berries?

Tea Tree Oil & Egyptian Magic
If it's good enough for the human, then it's good enough for the dog. I've used tea tree oil for most skin problems and a yeast infection too. I have this other expensive ointment called Egyptian Magic that cleared up this mysterious rash on my neck and other skin problems. An ex hipped me wise to it. Before the military his skin was buttery smooth and even. Then he began to shave leaving his skin riddled with hair bumps and discolored skin. An old man told him about EM. Ex used EM religously and his skin was once again blemish and bump free. It also speeded up Ciara's healing from her operation.
Back to tea tree oil. So, the Epi Otic dog ear cleaning solution cleaned her ear, but something else is WRONG. The tea tree oil called out to me. I googled it and it's perfect for dog ears. What else can tea tree oil do?
The cheapest I've seen Egyptian Magic is $27.95 from Nature & Herbs on amazon. When I bought it a year ago it was $24.95.
Oh and I should have never thought about Ciara's deadbeat male human care giver. He called yesterday while he was at work -a loud barbershop- asking me about a $2 bill he gave me. He said he asked me to put it up in my jewelry drawer of my vanity. Please. He gave me the $2 bill. And then he says, "I can give you two dollars for the bill." WOW. I asked him for $68 for Ciara's Frontline and heartworm pills. He said his car needed repairs and he couldn't go out and buy a new car like me. WTH? So, I hung up the phone. Now I will google $2 bills because people just give them to me like it's nothing. And for him to ask about it, it might be worth something.

McDonald's and Ciara's Dirty Ear
Ciara has been shaking her head and scratching her ear since Sunday. Last night I put some Jojoba oil in it. I was going to put some sweet oil aka olive oil known for soothing ear problems in it but since the jojoba has a pump I used that. That helped until this morning. I was going to put some of my premixed jojoba/grapeseed/tea tree oil in her ear, but since I've never tried that on myself, I called the vet and picked up some Epi-Otic from them. There I changed her contact info from her dead beat father's to mine. The address and all was the same, but he was listed under her info. Before skeeting a gallon of this stuff in her ear I let her run free in the neighborhood since she knows not to go on grey pavement (the big street) beyond the hill behind the house. She visited the big black dog. Sniffed some plants for a good five minutes and then came running to the front door. We weeded the backyard/patio and sprayed weedkill on everything. Ciara was in heaven so I pinned her down and went to work on her ear. After I picked up Ciara's medicine I went to McDonald's. I have a slight loyalty to McD since the company, Kay an Ecolab Company, I work for is the sole supplier for of cleaning agents for every single McDs (except Germany). I'm talking about from the pavement, windows, dishes, machines, tables, floors, laundry, and more. And Kay supplies Yum brands - KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut.... And Burger King.
I got a compliment from a white lady. In her more ghetto and country than I am dialect or whatever "Yer her is pertty. I like that." I thanked her and thought if I had ever gotten a compliment from a white person who didn't know me. She didn't ask what they were or any questions about them. That was the first real compliment that I have ever received in person. So I told her, "You're the first person that's complimented my hair."
This McD was full of blue collar men too - dusty, dirty, greasy, hot and sweaty, hungry, young, muscular, hard-working, Dickey's wearing, strong armed, salty tasting MENZ. I did look at every last one of them. How do I know they are salty tasting? Because men taste like salt when they sweat. Did you know that male sweat is an aphrodisiac? My sweat tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crust.
I was eating my McCruncher, when this ridiculously old and ugly man said I looked comfortable sitting there. I said I was and kept eating. On his second round past me he bidded me a good day. I samed to him. Then he was leaving out, and was motioning and mouthing something. So, I loudly and ignorantly said, "Main, I cain't hur you, watcha ya say now?" He came over and asked me for my number. "You know I got a man, right?" He asked if he could give me his number. "You know I ain't gonna call, right?" He laughed and walked on about his business. So outside this joint, he asked if I had changed my mind. "No, I still got a man and I still ain't calling." He went on about how honest I was and there needed to be more ladies like me and how lucky my man was. I got in my car and kept it moving.
Moral of this story, use the drive-thru.
And what the heck is this about? I guess I'll click here and find out.

Pets Can't Do Everything - Tupperware
I had a guinea pig, Virginia Lynette. She was a healer by nature. Guinea Pigs are known to take pain and illness from their loved ones and then carrying it to the mountain and pushing it off. Squeak as she was known would push my shoulder pains off of the couch or the table her crate was on.
Ciara sorta can do this. She's helped my hip and ease mentrual cramps. But I need her to rub my back. I really don't feel good. I have tea downstairs she could fix. Come on, I went to the store in the cold rain and got her some food which I spilled all over the floor while putting it into a big dog food tupperware container so it can stay fresh. A $15 container for fresh dog food and this dog won't even sit still enough so I can use her as a heating pad. Googling heating pads to see how much they cost. I need to call my ex to come get his dog for the summer. I need doggie support.
My co-worker from years ago asked everyone who threw away her tupperware container. Somebody asked her what color it was. She said tan/brown. Another person said they had never seen tan/brown tupperware before. She said, "I had my food in a Country Crock container, cleaned it, and put it on the counter to dry."
All plastic containers are Tupperware.

And Now Introducing...

Ciara Leigh'On. After Eigth Bags of Lava Rock I took Ciara out. I just want to say that without Sisterlocks there would be no sweet camera. I wouldn't have been so eager to hop on my patio project if I didn't show the world how awful it looked. I am working on it see. And without that camera I would have ran upstairs and fell out instead of capturing pictures of the most beautiful dog in the world. In the top picture I just snapped it as fast as I could to get her holding her paw up - I think that's pointing. By the time I zoomed in she had put it down and I got this second pic. My aunt borrowed that dalmation statue some 20 years ago by rolling it down a hill. She moved and my parents kept him for the longest time. When I moved into my townhouse my mother painted the concrete doggie and he's been there for almost 3 years. My copy cat neighbors with dogs also have dog statues. Or is that a decorative way to say a dog lives here and it's about this size?

Ciara Stayed Outside

And it just happened to be her first time staying out all night. I went to Danville with my sister to spend the night with my parents. I sure wish I had my camera then. Boy! Well, I don't know if Heide was lying or not but she said it snowed last night. I know it was cold and did rain. Eventhough I left Ciara a nice pallet, food, and drink in the storage room, I felt guilty. Then my sister got a chiquaqua from the animal shelter. Gosh he's so fat and cute. His name is Rocko and he's blond with hazel eyes.
Today, I tortured Ciara with The Heart Worm Pill and some Frontline. Then I chased her around with the camera. I finally got the camera figured out good enough without reading a dayum thing. YES. I decided to take more pictures of her. I didn't have to go far to find my furry diva friend. I wanna get a supersoaker so bad. The $1 spray bottle isn't enough for this. I am a bit amused at the comforter being pulled over the pillow like that.

Canine Companions and Sisterlockers

After visiting several albums, I've noticed that a lot of us have dogs. Here's Ciara Leigh. She's a hyper yet friendly pitbull and devil mix. Ciara is 40lbs and 16 months old. The last pic is Ciara and Denise, her best friend. See those nice shutters in the background, she's has one that she loves to scratch. I was trying to sand it down, but the sandpaper buffer - well, she liked that too. Those nice pillows - they are in the closet and only tossed on the couch when company comes over. That comforter even though it was cheap - is at some landfill now. The nice couch - no holes praise God - but sometimes I wonder if she licks it because - eww.
