My Own Sisterlocks

Katrina, Loving Natural, NLPrincess, Evie, 3Girlsmomma, Anthia-Ofo, and RMCandlelight thank you for the comments on the previous posts! RMCandlelight asked for an update on my locs, so here we go. What do my Sisterlocks look like after two years and nine months? Pretty much the same as they did before. HA!

The skinny ones were unraveling at the ends and loose through out. I slid the stitches down and re-tightened them. The larger one in the mix is fully mature!
There's a loose section, some bunching, over all it's not cute back there.
All serious. Overall, when all the locs are not being singled out, they look marvelous if I must say so myself. I love the way they look and very pleased with them.

I cut my hair some time in May and it looks like it's growing back.

I've got fat locs, skinny locs too!
I like the cut. I've half considered cutting the top of my hair shorter, but not sure what the effect will be.

OOh girl! Those locs are lovely! I believe it`s just the texture of our hair! When my hair began to loc, it started bunching like crazy! I cut the bunched locs off and then some unraveled. I have open ends and some curly q`s. I just had to stop stressing or else I would have cut my locs off. Our hair is our extension of our personality. I was a wild child! So my locs don`t conform to the norm! They do what they want to do why should I want to control them?

Your locs fit you to a T! They are a beautiful extension of you!

Hello!

Thanks for the parting tips. I've learned that although you are taught one thing in the class it may not neccesary apply to your client. Each one is different.

Thanks!
