Wearable Art - Yarncoture

I really want to thank Maryum of Yarncoture for making this custom open-top hat for me. It is made of 100% Peruvian Highland Wool which she knitted then handwashed - twice - for that fleece look. The lotus flower can be worn on the hat or as a brooche. CUTE! Custom orders are hard to do sometimes because of materials and trying to get that vision just right. Maryum you nailed it and a lot of people have given you compliments on twitter and facebook.

I really don't like cold weather, but now I can't wait for the chance to wear my new little friend.

Maryum knits and crochets and has fingerless gloves, various hat styles, shawls, baby booties, all sorts of handmade goodies. Winter is coming!

Thank you Okra & Bridget for checking it out!

Maryum, I'm going to rock the heck out of this bad baby. I'm in the bathroom there doing it up, so you know it's going to be on and popping.

Thanks for answering my question on those horrible bands. I have to find something else to band my hair.
I love your blog, good information for a newbie like me (2 months). you are too funny.

Nikid! I've been watching Maryum for a while and really wanted to get something. I can crochet, but knitting, I'm all thumbs. Sometimes it's better to let the masters do what it do! I'm glad I did just that with this hat. I would have knotted up a perfectly good ball of yarn!

Hey Barb! You're welcome and thank you for stopping by my little spot! I try to add a little bit on lockitup. Sometimes even we don't have all the answers and go by trial and error. Locks are so forgiving so if we mess it up, they still come out looking good.
