I Want It Instantly

When I researched SLs I wanted a particular look, I wanted Brunsli's hair. Recently, I had a few people say that they want hair like mine. This is very flattering. But, I feel like I'm not showing the whole truth. Collectively, I like the way my locks look. But individually, they look a bit STRANGE'. I have micros beside giants. Lumpy, bumpy ones are beside smooth ones. I wanted to them show them individually. Didn't Brunsli do this? Yes she did. LOOK! I remember this post and I still got SLs and I'm glad I did. I'm off to fix some of these issues.

You are not alone! Some of my individual locks are doing similar things. haha :-) I assume it is part of the settling process and/or my hair trying to fight the locking process. It has a tendency to do its own thing (curl). :-)

I think you probably should go ahead and fix or restart the ones that are bothering you. It's just like having a chipped fingernail... on a day to day basis no one will notice but it will drive you up the wall because YOU know it's not right.

Hmmm... I have a few of those lumpy ones in the crown of my head. I always thought those were installed a little too large to begin with so I'm not sure if that's what caused it or not.

Hi Carmen, Jhac here (you hipped me to the Knotty Boy Shampoo Bar on the Lock it Up group... Thanks, I love it) I think we have similar hair types/ textures. In looking at your photos I noticed that although mine are considerably shorter, our locks (particularly the ends) look very much alike. I too have some really tiny ones that neighbor others with widths that could almost be likend to traditional locks. I suppose I never thought much of it as I noticed that other SL bloggers often mention how each lock often takes own a life of its own and does different things as it moves through maturity stages. I have to say though, if you are uncomfortable then do what will make you feel better about your hair. SLs are a major investment, one you have to look at and live with each day, so you should be happy.

Thank you ladies for your understanding and encouragement. Sometimes I can be a bit vain, but I wanted to show what was wrong with a few.

I read on LIU that you've taken down a few locks. It's good that you're able to correct any issues, now that you're a trainee consultant. More power to you, girl. I like that first photo. Your locks are so full and fluffy.

Awww, you're so sweet! You made my day.

I know just how you feel. When I started, I wanted hair like Leighann's. I kept waiting -- when is it going to look like hers??

The best thing is, no matter how our hair turns out, it turns out to be perfect for us! And your hair looks perfect on you. :)
