brokeNbeads

I had to call my mom once I got the point of no return on the Sisterlock page. After explaining my plans in detail and learning a new thing about her, she said told me to click the button and get it on. It was a true Bruce Willis moment.

I signed up for the Sisterlock consultant class - no - paid for the class.

I also bought some business cards for my HOBBY as my father classified. My father and one of my friends both know everything about everything have been amping me up about the Tomoka Twists. Organization, shipping, packaging, mileage, supplies, marketing, and all I took out of hours of talking was BUSINESS CARDS. I got the cards because I've always thought they were cute after watching some documentary on calling cards used in the Victorian era. My sister made some calling for me a few years back and I would pass them out when somebody asked me for my number. CUTE. Guys thought they were so precious too. Aww, you got your own little card. So even though I really didn't NEED the cards, I got them anyway. At first I was doing a generic card on the do-it-yourself computer and came up with a decent card. But when I asked the young lady about borders, she went into her creative zone and really hooked me up. I went from saying, "Ok this little piece of paper has all my info on it," to saying, "This is hot." And I got the hot cards for the same price as the ok little pieces of paper. Now I need one of those cute business card holders for my purse.

Oh and then taxes. I hate taxes. I should have let them do that escrow thing so it wouldn't hurt so bad when the bill comes. I could have paid it over six months, but I can't take it. Each year this little tax dance goes on. I pay my taxes from my savings and then when I get my tax refund I put it into savings. All I can think of is Marvin Gaye's 'Inner City Blues',
Hang ups, let downs
Bad breaks, set backs
Natural fact is
I can't pay my taxes
Oh, make me wanna holler
And throw up both my hands

Actully, my taxes make me wanna do more than throw up both my hands. Well if I had a 9 in my right and a 45 in my other hand like TI, I'd feel better. I am going to borrow Ciara's butterfly knife she keeps in her pocket and tell Bruce Willis to meet me at the tax office. Or I can check into some of the free stuff my city offers and use it until I get some of my money back. Fun and free overides violence anyday.

Then I bought some more beads. These are handmade clay beads. I don't know how these folks do it. But they take the time to swirl colors or make flowers, fish, whatever using the clay, it's not painted on. One day imma make some beads. Stop. I'm pulling that iron out of the fire right now.

Art by Craftingangelgirl makes fierce clay beads that actually go on the lock. Joni Kay makes the cutes glass beads. Both are on ebay. I used Joni Kay's in two Cotton Candy's and when I get Craft's beads you will see.

congratulations on your decision to take the sisterlocks class. my best advice would be to establish a personal relationship with your trainer. you will have many questions after you take the class, you will need someone to reassure you and you want that person to know who you are and care about your success. all the best!

Thank you muslimahlocs. I will keep that in mind. I am also hoping that working alongside my consultant will help me gain confidence too. I know I can do anything if I put my mind to it, but sometimes that little devil on my shoulder tries to tell me I can't. BUT I CAN AND I WILL.

that's even better.
