"Blah, blah, something Sideshow Bob," huffed Twenty Three. "Did you just call me Sideshow Bob?" questioned Carmen surprisingly with a smile that confused her little guyfriend.
"Yeah, you know I'm joking. Your hair doesn't look like Sideshow Bob's," backpeddled the young man.
"It's ok, I like his hair." Carmen sat proudly in front of the laptop reminiscing the several times she's been called Sideshow Bob. The comparison to a cartoon character with big, red starbursts of freeforming locks was actually great compliment to her as a loose nappy haired young lady. When Carmen first had her Sisterlocks installed she wished her hair would be at least half its normal size. So getting this Bob compliment confirmed that her hair was indeed getting big as hell.

ha! this post made me laugh out loud! i have a client who refers to herself as sideshow bob in the derogatory sense, so it's nice to see that you flipped it. gotta say that your writing style is one of my favorites...definitely keeps me checking for your page. rock on with your big hair!

I LOVE my big hair too. Sometimes I complain about it like I don't, but part of the reason I chose SLs over other forms of locking was the fact that I thought I would retain more of my hair's natural volume.
I can't wait 'til I have lots of it to pile on top of my head when the mood strikes me!

Big hair is cool. I was told I looked like Sideshow Bob a few times, but I also take it in stride.
