Miss Ayana suggested I use Knotty Boy shampoo as she does with her white clients. If it works for them it will work for me cause all four of my grandparents are black. Hardy, har, har! I've had my Sisterlocks for 11 weeks, washed about each week, and retightened three times. The best picture I've ever taken is with me holding some crazy shampoo. Oh well.
I was back in High Point and went to the gas store. I turned around and guess what happened. I was spotted. "Those are sisterlocks." And she goes to = too. She said she had the same problem with the nape but they don't slip as much as time goes on. Good.

Moe, I'm sorry. You're soap is wonderful and full of magical oils that are great for my skin, but are too rich for my hair.
interesting. i never knew that this existed. thanks for hte fyi.
Muslimahlocs, you're welcome. I think I found out about Knotty Boy from http://www.mydreadlocks.com while researching SLs. And the little boy cartoon is so cute like Huey and Riley. Marketing is something else because the Knotty Boy white creaters made products to lock their hair.
A whe de monsta gawn? :-)
Niiicccee! Your loctitian did a fine job. You look really happy.
We trapped and tamed the monster and I'm hoping it doesn't come back!
Wow, talk about a tight curl pattern! It seems as if your hair shrinks to, what, half of its stretched out lenght? *tugging on hair* Nope, mine barely stretches at all!!! Hair is fascinating, don't you think?
Sunsail, that's the spring back action hair and the reason relaxers didn't have a chance. I have about two or more inches of loose ends. Whenever my locks get strong enough I will try a roller set and look at the hair brushing across my shoulders in a yellow sundress, in a nice park, packed lunch, and a man. Hmmm - I have a long way to go...
Wow, your hair looks like a monster didn't even visit :o)
Ro~
Your locks are fabulous! Too cute!I love your curl; I can identify. Mine shrinks to about half its length as well.
